As some of you already know, my mic/headset is pretty fried, therefore I'm going to invest into one so I can start communicating with you neeks on ts.

I'm not looking to spend a fortune, but if you know of, or own, a half decent headset, please list its make & model below

thx

Lol the mic doesn't have to be fancy, you can get a cheap one that'll work just fine

Same with me, I switch between iPod headphones and my V-Moda headset though, both have built in mics ~similar quality

I like my razer chimaera headset, i also use a 3.5mm splitter cable so i can use my earbuds as a headset on my computer which is cheaper and works well if you already have a pair of earbuds

$20 off amazon reporting in:

http://www.amazon.co...0?s=electronics

Also would not reccomend if you plan on wearing them for 3+ hours since your ears start hurting past that (even w/o sound)

Other than that they're actually pretty good, both sound+mic quality-wise, sxy too

I used for a while a Steelseries Siberia V2. Found these heavy on the ears, hurt after a while just because of how tight they sat.

I am now using the Kingston HyperX Cloud headset, got the "Pro" version just because I prefer the white ones :).

Highly recommend, great mic and so comfy!

£60.

This is my current, though it was way cheaper in Finland. (Like 60€)

You're much better off getting a decent pair of headphones (http://www.amazon.co.../dp/B0007XJSQC/) and a cheap desk mic (http://www.amazon.com/Connectland-CL-ME-606-Goose-Desktop-Microphone/dp/B0028Y4DCC/) than an integrated headset. Doubly avoid anything with "gamer" branding-- the build quality is frequently very low and you're way overpaying.

I actually have the Naga :D.

Have to say though, the Kingston Cloud headset is one of the comfiest and well made I've had, and the Mic quality is amazing for a gaming headset :D

Razer makes decent products as a few people have mentioned. I have a Razer Tiamat and it's super comfy, sound quality is good and no one's complained about the mic quality so I assume that means it's pretty good lol the stereo version is $80
